NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the City of Meridian will receive proposals from qualified contractors to furnish and install LED sports lighting at the Jaycee Soccer Complex on May 22, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Specifications may be obtained by visiting the website www.meridianmsprojects.com or from the City of Meridian Purchasing Department at 2412 7th St, Meridian, Mississippi 39301. Proposals may be submitted by sealed envelope or electronic submittal. Sealed envelope proposals should be addressed to Brandon Bridges, Purchasing Agent, 2412 7th St, Meridian, MS 39301.

All sealed proposals must be on file with the City of Meridian Purchasing Department prior to or by the acceptance date and time as stated above. All proposals must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope with:

WILL BE RECEIVED ON May 22, 2025, UNTIL 10:00 A.M.

Proposals may also be submitted electronically for FREE at www.meridianmsprojects.com no later than 10:00 A.M. Central Time on May 22, 2025. For any questions relating to the electronic submittal process, please contact PH Bidding Group at 662-407-0195.

It shall be incumbent upon each bidder to understand the specifications as listed herein and to obtain clarification when necessary. It is not the intent of the specifications to limit the bidding to any make or manufacture of equipment or items of commodity, but rather to select such equipment and or commodities to fill a specific need and perform a specific task. Any reference to name-brand equipment or commodities is intended to establish standards only and bids submitted on equipment and commodities equal thereto shall be received and considered.

Each Vendor/Contractor shall be solely responsible for ensuring the timely delivery/submission of its sealed and or/electronic bid to the City of Meridian before the date and time of the bid opening. Late or incomplete proposals will not be accepted. Modifications will not be considered unless expressly approved by the City of Meridian prior to the bid opening. No bids nor modifications will be accepted after the bid submission period has closed.

The City of Meridian expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part of any or all bids and waive any informalities.
